The Chilliwack RCMP is urgently requesting the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Jack Terpstra, who was reported missing on November 26, 2025. Police and family members are increasingly concerned for his safety, as his disappearance is described as out of character.
Jack was last seen at approximately 5:45 p.m. on November 26 at Evergreen Hall. Witnesses observed him walking east on Spadina Avenue toward Mary Street, and investigators believe he may have continued on into downtown Chilliwack. Since that time, there have been no confirmed sightings.
Jack is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with short brown hair and green-blue eyes. At the time he went missing, he was wearing dark pants, a black hoodie sweatshirt, and a blue-and-white mesh hat featuring a blueberry plant symbol on the front. He was also carrying a black backpack.

Police say one of the most concerning aspects of this case is that Jack does not have a cell phone or a bus pass with him, which makes it more difficult for him to communicate or travel long distances safely. Family members have emphasized that this behavior is very unusual for Jack, heightening fears for his well-being as time passes without contact.
The RCMP is actively following up on tips and canvassing areas where Jack was last seen, including routes leading into downtown Chilliwack. Officers are also asking businesses and residents to check any available surveillance footage that may help establish a clearer timeline of his movements.
Anyone who sees Jack, or believes they may have seen him, is urged to contact the Chilliwack RCMP immediately at 604-702-4611 and reference file number 25-50420. Police stress that even the smallest detail could be crucial in helping bring Jack home safely.
The community is being asked to remain alert, share this information widely, and keep Jack and his family in their thoughts as the search continues.
